After the disappointment of Silent Critic's breakup (Alex's and Andy's original band that started back in November of 2005), the two members went in search of something new and fresh. So they decided to start again with their newest project Halftime Rehearsal.

Halftime Rehearsal are a heavy-metal, post-hardcore rock band from Birmingham. Mixing several different styles and many different genres of music helps to create our original hard rock sound.

After going through a transformation in recent months with the addition of John Lee as the new lead vocalist, HTR now has a much heavier hard rock sound. Our new sound is displayed in the new material that has been recorded and is available for download and listening now.

Mikey Cunningham recently joined the band as a second guitarist. As posted in the new blog!

Since the addition of Mikey as a second guitarist, the band has evolved into a heavier form. The music has gotten faster and the vocals seem to have gotten considerably harsher. With two guitarists there has been more room for creativity and Half Time Rehearsal are now in between genres. A much more hardcore/heavy metal approach has been added.

An EP was recorded on the 25th-26th of June and the Band will be playing venues with the EP for sale.
